Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum
Are you a Design engineer with experience in a Sheet Metal Fabrication? Look no further as we have an excellent position working alongside a growing design team.
Brief description of duties
Ability to manipulate customer drawings to suit the production and estimating team.
To lead the design process from concept to manufacture.
Assess the needs of customers.
Consult with design manager and production manager to assess shop floor needs.
Communicate designs and drawings.
Create comprehensive models and fully detailed engineering drawings.
Design for manufacture – adapt customer designs to suit manufacturing processes.
Support, create and maintain CNC programs.
Working on Solid Works and Radan.Working hours
08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday
Salary
£35,000 – £45,000 dependent on experience.
