Studio Traffic Manager

Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £35000 – £43000/annum

We are looking for a highly motivated Studio Traffic Manager with a design or artwork background, to manage workflow in a 2D design team within a thriving art consultancy based in Warwickshire. This is a full-time, permanent role with a career progression opportunity to Studio Manager, based on-site in Warwick 5 days per week. Salary £35k-£43k depending on experience.
The Company
Our client is a leading creator of bespoke artwork and sculpture, working with leading hospitality and hotel brands both in the UK and around the globe. As a thriving art consultancy, they offer a full service from creating concepts to manufacturing and printing on-site at their impressive workspaces in Warwick. Their talented team works collaboratively on a range of prestigious projects to provide a bespoke consultancy service, working alongside Architects and Interior Designers to create unique and bespoke pieces of art.
The Role
As Studio Traffic Manager, you will support the Artwork Design Manager in managing studio workflow, scheduling and coordinating all design and artwork briefs for the 2D design team. You will also work very closely with the 3D design team on collaborative projects. Essentially, you will act as the bridge between the design teams and the production team, in the delivery of a wide range of design projects including murals, wall coverings, canvases, window vinyls, sculptures, and bespoke fabrics. You will provide the 2D design team with technical support; using Photoshop and Illustrator to check all digital artwork files are set up correctly for print, advising the Designers on methods of digital file setup for complex print jobs, and also help with any general troubleshooting queries for the Macs.
About You
You have a studio background as Graphic Designer or Creative Artworker and have gained further experience in traffic management, giving you enough experience to be confident as the sole Traffic Manager in the studio. You are highly organised and process driven and have a strong ability to juggle multiple projects, assess time requirements, and adapt to changes in project timings and deadlines. You are highly proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator and are happy to use these skills on a daily basis. You have a solid understanding of digital printing and enjoy solving last-minute technical challenges.
