Driver/Installer
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.75 – £12.75/hour
We are looking for Driver/Installers to work with a travel customer based in Waterlooville who will be offered regular, ongoing work during their peak period.
Days of work: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
Start time: 06:30/07:00
The individual will be expected to drive customer vans to and from the docks. The delivery and installation part of the role will be physically demanding.
As a Driver/Installer you must:
* Be over the age of 25 (for customer insurance purposes).
* Hold a valid driver’s licence.
* Have less than 6 points on your licence.
* Have a passport for security purposes.
* Be physically fit and comfortable lifting moderate-heavy weight.
* Be adaptable, flexible, have attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet.
An Driver/Installer’s responsibilities include:
* Arranging and packing vans at the warehouse ready for deliveries each day.
* Driving to and from Southampton and Portsmouth docks daily.
* Working in a team to deliver and install the relevant customer equipment on the cruise ships.
* Following run sheet and team instructions – all installations are time sensitive.
The successful Driver/Installer can expect:
* PAYE: Monday – Friday: £10.75, Saturday £11.75 & Sunday & Bank Holidays £12.75
* 28 days paid holiday pro rata on PAYE.
* Weekly Pay
* 6-hour minimum guaranteed pay per day*
This position is commutable from Fareham, Havant, Chichester, and other areas nearby to Portsmouth.
