CAD Technician (Graduate) – Grantham – Monday —Thursday: 7am – 4:15pm, Friday: 7am—11am – Temp to Perm – £12.00ph
Do you want to learn new skills and gain new experiences in order to progress your career in Design within a Mechanical Engineering environment as a Graduate CAD Technician.
We are looking for a candidate who is keen and eager to pursue a career in Mechanical Design on a temporary to permanent full-time basis. As a Graduate CAD Technician (current studies can be accommodated) your day to day responsibilities will include:
* Day to day creating & updating of drawings & folders.
* RFA's ( request for action – Changes to existing parts that are issues or changes due to production).
* Creating Nesting programs to enable the equipment to be cut on the laser cutter.
* Liaising with production etc.
* Taking multiple instructions from various people/ departments.
* Updating and creating manuals.
* Confident with computer software and programs
* GCSE's / NVQ / BTEC / A levels or equivalent
Within the role some tasks can be repetitive when needing completing, other times there's several completely different jobs back to back or overlapping, so there is a need to be quite flexible.
This role would suit a recent college graduate or an individual currently studying who would like to develop skills & gain experience alongside their studies. Previous CAD design program experience is preferred.
You will need to be a reliable, quality focused individual who can work to the highest standard at all times.
Holidays: 25 days annually plus bank holidays, free parking, local bus route, weekly paid, pension.
