We are proud to collaborate with a well-established membership services company in their search for a dedicated Architectural Technician. This exciting opportunity arises from an internal promotion within the organisation.
As an Architectural Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Architectural Technician within a dynamic team of 7 professionals. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of remote work, with in-office presence required just 2 days per week. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting in design concepts, producing technical drawings, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential, as you will be crafting high-quality drawings for new business tenders, site refurbishments, and groundwork projects.
Key Responsibilities for the Architectural Technician:
Collaborate closely with the Senior Architectural Technician to develop innovative design concepts.
Create precise technical drawings using AutoCAD, maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
Ensure compliance with relevant building regulations and codes.
Generate drawings for new business proposals, site refurbishments, and groundwork projects.
Work collaboratively within the team to meet project deadlines and objectives.Key Skills for the Architectural Technician:
Proven experience working with AutoCAD in a commercial setting is essential.
Sound knowledge of building regulations and architectural standards.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly and confidently.
