Tower Hamlets Council digital presence for adult social care and health content
Brief:
The council requires a web copywriter for 6 months to refresh and edit existing content, write new content, and to provide digitally delivered internal and external communications in support of the transformation work for adult social care across three different platforms listed below:

Tower Hamlets Council intranet (The Bridge) for staff
Tower Hamlets Connect websiteReporting to Sarah Murphy, principal social worker and Akbal Ahmed, commissioning manager, you will be working with an adult social care project lead to identify existing and new content across the three platforms listed above and ensure that content across the three is synchronised and engaging.
You will have considerable experience in writing engaging and clear content for websites and provide:
a professional lead for digital content across adult social care
clear and engaging content of the councils intranet, internet and Tower Hamlets Connect website to ensure the council's statutory responsibilities are maintained.
a lead role in editing and approving for publication content across the three platforms
Responsibilities
create compelling and engaging content and edit copy across multiple websites
work with our internal social care and public health teams to bring concepts and ideas to life
ensure digital content meets briefs, is in line with brand guidelines and tone of voice and is optimised for SEO and UX best practice
influence and guide internal stakeholders by providing insightful, constructive feedback
ensure all content published is factually accurate and has been ratified in line with the council's approval process
build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure collaboration and joined-up thinking
Use data to inform the effectiveness of content and to drive continuous improvement and increased engagement.
