We are the UK’s leading supplier of quality timber doors, a successful and growing business looking for an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Assistant to join our expanding marketing team. The role would suit candidates seeking to join a large, well established and secure company who can offer the chance to learn and develop. The role would suit either a recent graduate with a relevant Degree and some relevant work experience gained since leaving University or from a gained from an internship or those candidates currently working in a role that involves some Digital Marketing duties but now seeking a full digital marketing role.

The role is based at our Bournemouth branch and reports to the Head of Marketing and Technical, working within a small team to assist in the achievement of the business’ goals through the growth and development of our e-commerce and digital channels. Your key duties would be:
• Working with our team of specialists, coordinate the ongoing optimisation of the online customer experience and improvement of conversion performance, through website management.
• Ensure that the business trading strategies are supported by the marketing strategy for all paid advertising channels.
• Aid in the creation and implementation of landing pages to further enhance the customer journey.
• Ensure all copy on website is SEO focused and implement SEO best practices into your content and overall work.
• Help manage on-site search, analyse usage, and optimise.
• Help manage on-site merchandising, driving cross-/up-sell to increase ATV with responsibility to analyse impact and optimise.
• Aid in optimising website customer experience and journey, proposing decisions on content, functionality, and layout improvements across the site.
• Help manage AB and multi variant testing, identifying conversion tests and managing tools to help implement and analyse.
• Copywriting unique, engaging, and informative product descriptions.
• Support in the publication of monthly promotions. Communicating with outsourced social and creative teams.

To be successful for the Digital Marketing Assistant role you will have a passion for improving efficiencies and enhancing user experience, a knowledge and understanding of SEO, Ad Words and analytic tools. You should also excel in copywriting and proofreading, have good analytical skills and a methodical approach to reviewing and updating digital content with creative flair. Be happy to volunteer change ideas where improvement can be seen and implement. Strong experience of using excel to an intermediate level is essential.
