Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £45000 – £50000/annum
Are you a Design Engineer with experience in the design and detailing of power packs, hydraulic cylinders, and valves?
Cubed Talent is working in partnership with a leading designer and manufacturer of bespoke hydraulic equipment and systems, recruiting for a Design Engineer. Our client is a well-established SME and supplies bespoke hydraulic equipment and systems to a number of markets including offshore oil & gas, nuclear and the energy sectors.
If you are a Design Engineer with hydraulic experience looking for a technically challenging role, this role could be for you!
* Design team to help coordinate day-to-day design of products and fluid power circuits
* Creating necessary drawings for prototyping
* Maintaining and updating drawing systems
* Initiating and directing engineering projects
* Daily use of AutoCAD 2D and Inventor 3D CAD packages
* Working on equipment such as; Power Packs, Hydraulic Cylinders, Control Manifolds, Special Valves
The Candidate
* Experience and knowledge of working with Fluid power circuits and components
* Calculations and systems experienced is very advantageous
* Degree qualification is beneficial
* Technically minded with the ability to problem-solve
