Salary : £32000 – £36000/annum
Graphic Designer 6-9 month FTC
This position reports directly to the Head of Marketing and is a Maternity Cover Fixed Term Contract for 6-9months. The salary is FTE and the role is hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer with an excellent creative portfolio to work as a member of the marketing team for our client on their household name consumer brands. Producing high quality creative print, digital and web designs for use on their packaging, publications, websites, and other promotional materials to raise and maintain the profile of the Company's consumer brands. You will need to have a forward thinking and proactive approach to your work along with a strong creative flair and impeccable attention to detail. You should possess strong commercial awareness and knowledge of web build and design.
Role & Responsibilities for Graphic Designer:
Excellent commercial experience ideally within B2C environment
Produce high quality creative print, digital and web designs
Focus on designs for use on packaging, publications and websites
Working across a range of exciting household name consumer brands
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, organise and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines
Interpreting briefs and developing designs by gathering information through research
Continually develop skills and thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
Regularly monitor trends in advertising and packaging design to obtain new ideas
Skills Required for Graphic Designer Role:
Website design and development tools & systems such as WordPress and WooCommerce o Elementor for WordPress o Knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects
A strong creative portfolio in Graphic, Print & Digital Design
Creative, editorial, and typographic flair
Great stakeholder engagement skills
