We are delighted to assist our client, a highly innovate and creative company within the events & entertainments industry in their search for a creatively driven Project Manager. Their business primarily provides scenery, lighting and AV for a wide range of events, including product launches, corporate and private parties, presentations, conferences and meetings in the UK and across Europe. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic growing business in South London.
Role Summary:
Using your design flair to work with clients to deliver highly creative solutions.
Event venue visits and surveys (interior and exterior).
Designing schemes for events such as product launches and themed private parties for various high profile clients.
Quoting and working with budgets.
Pre-production drawings and specifications.
Liaising with in-house carpenters, dressers, painters and lighting tech team.
Possibly working on site for the duration of event set-up and some de-rigs; with a multi-skilled crew.
Experience needed: – Creative flair & Communication !
* Customer centric with a real flair for relationship building, listening carefully to fully capture the brief before creative development into a commercially viable reality, which you will process own until successful completion. This could include product launches, experimental marketing, visual merchandising, installations, corporate or private entertainment & events.
* An excellent communicator working closely with clients and key stakeholders within the business, converting the clients vision or conceptual idea, with a desirable background to include practical knowledge of design, build, manufacturing and installation – possibly in a set design or exhibition/installation related field.
* You will be detail orientated though still with considerable creative flair, superb client facing skills and a solid knowledge of relevant design related software. You will work collaboratively with construction, assembly and installation teams to complete the project, managing requirement, timescales and required resources efficiently.
* Excellent related IT skills / experience
* Working closely with client and colleagues alike you will carefully plan the resource and budgeting required, communicating critical path/timelines, coordinating colleagues workloads/plans, managing the process from start and initial contact through to successful completion of projects and implementations.
* Experience of private or corporate party/event planning, set building, installations, shop fitting, stage design are all comparable environments. Practically minded in your approach though with considerable creative flair, professional though personable, providing exceptional service to a diverse customer base. –
