Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Warminster who are actively looking to recruit a Packaging designer to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

We are looking for a Packaging Designer to work in our Design Department, supporting our Sales Team and Head of design with Customer design enquiries, enabling the business to manufacture product solutions that meet all our customer requirements.

Create design drawings and specification from sales enquiries briefs, where feasible and appropriate, in an accurate and timely manner.
Liaise with sales and customers, where appropriate, to gather enough information to ensure the designs created meet the customer's requirements, while considering production limitations and production's opinions on challenging designs.
To amend specifications to production, sales and / or Costing's requests, where appropriate.What you will need to succeed:

Strong design background with excellent skills in using designing tools such as AutoCAD, Vector and Bitmap drawing programs or other relevant CAD packages along with Microsoft Office applications.
Previous experience as a design engineer working in a fast paced environment with prior experience of efficiency and quality, designs within a manufacturing/production environmentWhat you will receive in return:
