Electrical Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £45000 – £55000/annum
Electrical Design Engineer required for our client. They are looking for an Electrical design engineer for the following: ASHP, solar thermal, MVHR, AC, solar PV, battery storage, EV charging systems and electrical controls systems for commercial and domestic projects.
Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview
To work from survey
Use of AutoCAD and solar software to take measurements and produce
designs, schematic drawings for renewable systems
Full knowledge of ASHP, MVHR, AC, solar thermal, solar PV, battery storage, EV charging systems and control systems
Preparation of quotes, specifications and supporting documents
Liaise with product suppliers and clients
Organising project information and maintaining records
Provide technical support to end users and field team
Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements
5 years minimum experience dealing with solar PV, battery storage and EV charging
AutoCAD, Microsoft office (Excel, Windows)
Experience in Design Engineering (Electrical essential, with Mechanical knowledge alongside preferable)
Good communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to manage a challenging and varied workload
ASHP design experience preferable but not essential
Full UK driving license and vehicle
Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
£45,000 to £55,000 depending on experience
Govt Pension Scheme
Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Immediate start
28 days holiday per annum including all bank holidays increase by 1 day per complete holiday year up to a maximum of a further 5 days (prorated for part time employees)
