GBR Recruitment are proud to be working in business partnership with a leading well-being product manufacturer distributor recruiting for several experienced Web Content Coordinator (CMS, CSS, HTML, JavaScript) with lots of Administration duties.

You will be a Web Content Specialist / Guru, a real professional who can add real value to our clients expanding creative web team (a highly successful innovative content team), helping to continue making this e-commerce / direct sales business a front runner in their niche sector.

Working 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday (1 hour lunch) in a Hybrid role working 3 days in the office & 2 days from home per week across a 35 hour working week

As the Web Content Specialist you will be responsible for content management in terms of carrying out CMS copy & paste type processes posting other Web content creators work, plus carrying out all other web administration activities as well as taking on more of a Web Content Creator role further down the line.

This will mainly entail the testing and administration maintenance of multiple European e-commerce websites / web pages, each one tailored to specific market demands and each one if the different languages specific to that Country, this remit is to include new shopping, well-being product enrolment experiences, and small enhancements to the companies websites as the e-commerce focused project progresses & rolls out further.

Ideally you will have experience of web technology such as HTML, CSS & JavaScript plus an understanding of related web content aspects such as SEO & Google Analytics within a Web Content Coordinator / Administrator role, with the client being happy to train in certain areas that are missing

Day to Day Responsibilities:

* Working at the Coordinator / Administrator of multiple content management systems (CMS) using Crownpeak and Hybris, liaising with content developers and content editors uploading their content creations on to the specific websites fulfilling the needs of the Pan European operation / market place

* Strong Coordination with IT and development teams to assist in testing with the launch of new sites and carrying out the content administration improvements for existing sites

* Upload the Creators marketing content to a range of different digital platforms including the ongoing development of a new e-commerce website shopping experience, following the company protocols and processes

* Operating across a variety of different language websites, translations will be provided to make the solutions specific to one language or multi-lingual / bi-lingual.

* Plan, define and implement website updates & changes.

* Investigate, remedy and / or report any operational and technical e-commerce website issues

* May be required to update HTML and CSS to create accurate, complete, discoverable and usable digital content

Qualifications and Experience

* Time served in a Web Content Coordinator or Web Content Administrator role or Digital Marketing, ideally with strong exposure to E-commerce retail sites across UK, European & Global markets

* Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, IT or a directly relevant subject qualification is preferable but not essential

* Experience of web content administration and web content management systems is a must have.

* Experienced in web content editing, managing and implementing intranets or collaborative software across different brands, different products & topics.

* Ideally proficient understanding of the components of common web technology (such as CMS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

* Understanding of website optimisation aspects such as SEO, Google Analytics

* You will have "the eagle eye" when it comes to spotting detail to ensure all key brand / product messaging and styles remain consistent across all digital platforms

* A 2nd language would be useful, but isn't a must have.
