CAD Technician
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £18000 – £22000/annum Overtime + Benefits
Looking for a CAD Technician seeking a new opportunity.
Main Responsibilities
* Provide sketch proposals using AutoCAD for discussion
* Provide marked up elevations using AutoCAD for discussion
* Sound knowledge of building regulation and drawing packages for residential and commercial developments
* Offer advice to design teams (architects / structural engineers / design managers / quantity surveyors & project managers)
* Carry out design calculations on products
* Support the Specification process
* Monitor design reviews to limit the amount of work we do at certain stages of the design process
* Extensive knowledge of using AutoCAD 2D and 3D (sketch up)
* The ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to be highly accurate and check your own work.
* Be able to complete full drawing packages for planning, tendering and construction from site survey information and mark up through to a fully detailed construction package
* Assisting with the production of site layout plans, and technical details in accordance with current Building Regulation requirements
Requirments for Success
* Solid CAD, Sketchup , Photoshop experience
* Good business understanding
