French speaking Fashion Translator (freelance)

Salary : £110/day
This is a brilliant opportunity for a French speaker with experience within translation to become part of a fashion ecommerce company based London. You will be using your expertise in creating attractive content in an accurate and reliable manner into French whilst maintaining the brand tone of voice. This temporary position offers you heaps of opportunity for you to develop your expertise within a highly recognised fashion company. This role can be done from home but with initial days in the office in West London. It will be on a temporary, on-going basis depending on workload.
Your responsibilities will include:
Managing the translation, transcreation and content editing of the fashion and lifestyle content across the French market websites and platforms
Gain an understanding of the French fashion market and its consumers
Work closely with the Manager and other departments of the business
Ensuring the consistency of the content and language style is accurate and adhering to the guidelinesAbout you:
The ideal candidate will have experience in translation, content writing or sub-editing. It is essential for you to have exceptional communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with different departments, accuracy with attention to detail and have knowledge in fashion. It is a great opportunity for a fluent French and English speaking Fashion Translator to gain experience within a well known fashion company.
Profile:
Required to be fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
Strong IT skills, MS Office and a good knowledge of CRM system and InDesign
Previous experience as a Digital Translator, Sub-editing, Content Editor, Creative Translator or Product Translator
Able to work independently and take initiative in a fast paced environment
Strong knowledge of exclusive fashion
