An established fashion retailer renowned for its menswear, womenswear and childrenswear collections is currently recruiting for an Established Childrenswear Designer with strong multi-product experience to join its growing design team.
As a Childrenswear Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing multi-product childrenswear ranges working closely with the wider design team and reporting directly to the Head of Design. Taking full ownership of product lines, attending fit meetings, creating and updating tech packs, and fabric and trim research. You will work closely with the Buying and Merchandising teams, adhering to the critical path, and liaising with internal teams and external suppliers and factories.
The ideal candidate must have previous childrenswear design experience working at an established level for a high street, lifestyle or premium brand. You must have exceptional knowledge of creating tech packs with experience working closely with in-house designers and Garment Techs, overseas factories and external suppliers. You must be excellent communicator (written & verbal) with strong presentation and I.T skills using Adobe InDesign & Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Excel and Google Drive.
