Our client is a renowned team of highly skilled traditional joiners based in the UK. Drawing inspiration from historical joinery and carving techniques, they specialise in crafting meticulously designed internal and external doors, panelling, flooring, and various architectural. Their multi-award-winning joinery studio boasts a unique blend of traditional craftsmanship and cutting-edge CAD capabilities, enabling them to tackle even the most intricate and innovative projects.
As a CAD Technician, you will join a dynamic team of designers. Your expertise in architectural joinery manufacturing processes will be crucial in producing accurate working drawings for customer approval and in-house production. This role demands proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, an exceptional eye for detail, and strong 3D visualization skills.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Translate design concepts into 3D CAD models and production drawings.
Ensure accuracy and precision in working drawings for customer approval and production.
Collaborate with the design team to coordinate manufacturing and workshop construction.
Apply an understanding in traditional joinery processes and techniques.Experiences required:
Proficiency in 3D modelling using SOLIDWORKS.
Understanding of joinery processes and workshop production.
Knowledge of materials used in production including wood, glass, metalwork, and finishes.
Familiarity with traditional joinery techniques is an advantage.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.Additional Information:
7am- 5pm Monday- Thursday, 7am- 1pm on Fridays.
