Artworker – MAC operative
Job Type : Permanent, Part Time, Part Time
Salary : £16000 – £25000/annum DOE + benefits incl. free parking
A leading producer of international menus are seeking an experienced Artworker with MAC skills. You will work at least 3 days a week which allows you to maintain any freelance activities.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Using Adobe Creative Suite Illustrator, Pitstop, Photoshop etc to amend and produce
print-ready files
* Identifying and fixing problem artwork
* Preparing artwork for proof and print using Kodak Prinergy and Fiery RIP software
* Pre-flight checking of proofs for client approval
* Operating and maintaining Kodak B1 Magnus Platesetter, Epson Proofing System and
Xerox Versant 180 digital press
Experience required:
* Expert knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop etc.
* Expert knowledge of Kodak Prinergy pre-press workflow
* Working knowledge of Xerox Versant 180 digital printing press or similar
* Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and meet deadlines
