Embroidery Machinist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000 – £24300/annum
Operate embroidery equipment and software to create product designs. Apply appropriate color fill patterns. Create and edit designs on embroidery machines. Convert designs from electronic formats to embroidery format.
Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments
– Adjust machine controls and change tool settings to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
– Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process
– Troubleshoot issues with machines and make necessary adjustments or repairs
– Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
– Previous experience as a machinist or in a similar role preferred
– Strong knowledge of machining techniques, tools, and materials
– Familiarity with operating and maintaining various types of machine tools
– Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
– Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
