Recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join an International clothing manufacturer as an Account Manager. You will be part of a small Cheshire based team dedicated to the design, development and production of high-quality garments for leading sportswear brands. A confident communicator with ability to build relationships with all stakeholders. Your role will be to manage the day to day detail, and the ideal application will come from a similar account management, merchandising or production background within apparel, and has a strong interest in developing their career within sportswear.
Offering hybrid working, applicants must be within reasonable commuting distance and eligible to work in the UK.
Account Manager – The Job Outline
* Maintain excellent customer relationships whilst providing regular updates.
* Deal with the customer on all aspects of the buying and production cycle from acceptance of orders to the delivery of bulk production.
* Be the first point of contact to answer customer queries.
* Liaise with the factory merchandising team to monitor delivery plans.
* Monitor critical path information to manage production and facilitate order timeliness.
* Track delivery performance and reports to manage customer expectations.
* Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.
* Review monthly quality scorecard to ensure audit and quality standards are met.
* Develop and maintain collaborative business relationships.
* Proactive and supportive to the changing needs of the sales team.
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the sales plan according to business needs and objectives.
* Track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly forecasts and sales results)
* Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly targets to internal and external stakeholders.
Account Manager – The Candidate Skills & Experience
* Educated to degree standard.
* Experience from a merchandising/production or similar account management, customer facing role
* Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
* Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* IT literate and conversant with Microsoft Office.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* A confident, proactive approach capable of working effectively in a team under pressure in a demanding fast paced environment.
* Ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels.
* Overseas travel may be required
