My Client is an extremely well known name in Luxury Kitchens in Birmingham, their state of the art showrooms and top quality kitchen furniture brings in fantastic projects for designers to work on. They are currently inundated with design requests and you will be working at a fast pace in the showroom.
The applicant will have a flair for design and be comfortable designing with both British and German kitchen brands. You will be able to take a customer from end-to-end, from Lead Stage, Measuring, Designing and Finalising, a real hands on position.
Job Summary
As a Kitchen Designer, you’ll be responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing exquisite kitchen designs that cater to the unique tastes and needs of our high-profile clients. Your eye for aesthetics and knowledge of current design trends will be key in delivering kitchen solutions that exceed expectations.
Responsibilities
* Client consultation: Through a range of lead generating methods (Web, Store and Referral) you will qualify the clients needs and lifestyle preferences to effectively design their dream space
* Conceptualization and Design: Develop creative kitchen designs that provide both functional and luxury aspects.
* Project Management: Oversee the entire process from Lead to Design to Sale. Ensure that the project is within the clients budget and on their timeline
* Understanding of materials: Understanding of the different styles, ranges and materials that are on offer, so you can effectively present relevant solutions to the customer that fits their needs and project
Qualifications and skills
* A degree in Interior Design or similar is required
* 12 months minimum experience in designing kitchens.
* Proficiency in design software, preferably Winner
* Knowledge of Kitchen Appliances, Cabinets, and Worktops
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
* Ability to collaborate with a diverse team and external vendors.
* Passion for design and high-end lifestyle trends
