Design Engineer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £25000 – £33000/annum Depending on experience
Wishing to put your product designing skills to the test, if so, a rapidly growing manufacturer in Witham need a Design Engineer to aid the business in keeping up with increasing demand. The company offer high standard service alongside quick product turnaround to preserve their longstanding distinguished reputation. You will be keen to demonstrate and transfer your skills as a Design Engineer, whilst being adept in the fast-paced production industry. All processes are in-house so you will have an excellent opportunity to nurture your personal and the company's continued growth.
Duties:
Using initiative to take control of the projects, from concept through to full technical drawings as well as CNC programs for our machine operators to work with
Assist with the programming of designs so that our machine operators can cut the material as required
Active role in all aspects of product development and prototyping
Liaising effectively with all stakeholders both internally and externally
To be considered for this Design Engineer role, you will need the following experience and skills:
CAD proficient (preferably Inventor)
CNC programming experience ideal
Demonstrable experience in product design and creative field
Be comfortable working to quick turnaround deadlines
