Are you a Design & Technical Manager looking to join a nationwide contractor working on medium to large scale modular rental projects? Are you looking to play an integral part in their ongoing success? Then this could be the role for you!
A very well established modular building contractor with a great reputation for quality are looking to recruit an experienced modular rental Design & Technical Manager to ensure Products and Projects are designed and built to conform to all client and necessary regulatory requirements.
The Role:
To design and value engineer accurately and on time to meet business needs.
New products are to be developed in line with Business and Market needs to stay at the front edge of the Modular Hire Industry.
Improve all processes within the Rental Design department, with the aim of maximising standardisation, automating systems, and improving both efficiency and accuracy.
Managing the current Design team which is made up of 8 designers/design managers.
Client facing role as well and managing workload/process of all won contracts.
About You:
Good people manager required as well as technical knowledge.
Project design management experience.
AutoCAD experienced.
Commercially aware.
Modular build and traditional build knowledge.
Good communication skills.
