Are you a skilled and creative 3D Design Engineer? Are you excited about bringing imaginative concepts to life through technical drawings and 3D models? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our dynamic team as a 3D Design Engineer at The Recruitment Co, working on behalf of our prestigious client.
Role and Responsibilities:
As a 3D Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in transforming conceptual designs into detailed 3D models and technical drawings. Your responsibilities will include:
Interpreting concept designs and aligning them with project budget constraints.
Collaborating with the design manager to address material limitations and ensure feasibility.
Creating accurate room models/plans within tender specifications.
Developing detailed and high-quality 3D models for integration into the drawing management library.
Producing technical drawings for the manufacturing of project components and maintaining revision history.
Updating drawing management documents to ensure quality control and project status assessment.
Preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs) and procurement-friendly information.
Identifying clash analysis impacts and proposing cost-effective solutions.
Utilizing software tools effectively and staying current with industry standards.
Meeting committed timescales and communicating effectively with management.
Assimilating and communicating impacts from external organizations on project deliverables.What We Offer:

A Friendly and Collaborative Working EnvironmentQualifications:
Minimum 2:1 degree in a STEM or design related subject OR relevant experience in FF&E or furniture design sector.Key Skills:
Proficiency in hand drawing for effective communication.
Ability to comprehend and interpret technical drawings.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident telephone etiquette.
Outstanding organizational skills, capable of multitasking.
Proficiency with 3D Modeling software like Solidedge, Inventor, or Solidworks.
Enthusiasm for professional growth and development.
Beneficial: Ability to drive.Beneficial Skills:
UK driving license (due to UK-wide site operations).
