Web Developer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £45000 – £55000/annum
We are currently recruiting for a lead full stack Web Developer role based at our Middlesbrough head office. Working as part of the IT department, successful applicants will be required to have:
* This role is office based Monday to Friday
* Relevant degree level qualification (2:1 or higher preferred) or relevant vocational/apprenticeship qualification.
* Strong OOP development skills.
* Experience working with JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
* HTML/CSS production skills.
* The ability to research, up-skill, and cross-skill with web technologies.
* In addition, it would be desirable for applicants to possess the following:
* Experience with a PHP-based MVC framework (Laravel, Symfony, or similar).
* Experience with JavaScript libraries or frameworks (such as jQuery, ReactJS, etc).
* Experience with SASS, or other stylesheet pre-processors.
* Knowledge of Adobe Suite software.
The role will involve:
* True full stack development – including front-end production, UI/UX development, bespoke PHP/MySQL development, plus some Linux server admin.
* Working with design, marketing, business development, and other stakeholder departments to produce and maintain custom web-based applications.
* Co-ordinating with and implementing strategy set by SEO/PPC staff and management.
* Training on software and in-house tools will be provided where necessary
