Company: A global leading signage company.

Role: Our client is currently looking for a sign maker to join their growing team in Nottingham.

A sign maker contributes to the manufacture and installation of a variety of signs including interior signs, exterior signs, vehicle graphics, window graphics, shop signage, exhibition displays and digital signage.

You will learn and be involved in the production and installation aspects of the business.

· Setting up files for vinyl cutting

· Preparation of vinyl graphics and application to a wide variety of substrates to include panels, vans and cars.

· Include measuring and calculating signage sizes, preparing surfaces, and installing signs on site

· Sign assembly / sign making

· Full on the job training will be provided in all aspects of the role

Requirements:

· Proven experience in the signage industry

· Production experience in sign making

· The ability to interpret briefs accurately and a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques – beneficial;

· Knowledge of general sign assembly is preferable

· Ability to read drawings

· Use of composer and coral draw an advantage

· Use of hand tools and workshop power tools
