Junior QA Technologist
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £22000 – £26000/annum
Fantastic career opportunity within a large technical team who are recruiting for a new Junior QA Technologist!. This role would ideally suit a Graduate with practical work experience within similar garment technical or product development environment. Experience with printed fabrics, graphics or licenses would be advantageous.
Junior QA Technologist – The Job Outline
* Submit and manage initial strike off submissions to copyright and maintain appropriate records accordingly.
* To keep QA team fully informed of progress of copyright submissions.
* To understand procedures for Final copyright submissions and to cover during periods of absence.
* Support QA Team by reviewing Fit samples and Production samples when required as follows:
* Measure and record samples
* Fit samples on fit mannequins and review with QA Technologist
* Check Production samples with QA Technologist against approved colour / print standards.
* Complete information on customer workbooks as required.
* Work with and support QA Technologist on new product developments when required.
Junior QA Technologist – Skills & Experience
* Ideal candidate will be degree educated in fashion, textiles or garment technical.
* Minimum of 6months+ practical industry based work experience ie. product development, technical or other .
* Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
* Good organisation skills and critical path management.
* Good understanding of manufacturing process – including print techniques.
* Work as part of a wider team and be self-motivating.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
* Applicants will need access to own transport as local options are not great
