A beautiful brand that has ambitiously made a name for itself in the premium fashion market over recent years. They have successfully launched new fashion lines online and also with huge retail partners who are well known across the high street.
They are now on the look out for a Junior Account Manager to come and join their team, supporting the Buying Manager, designers and garment technologists on the development of new styles!
You may be operating as an Assistant Buyer within a fashion brand already, but are wanting to take on a new challenge. This role will allow you use all of your transferrable skills from Buying, whilst up skilling in areas such as; partner management, trading, open costings, factories, in-house sampling.
Your key responsibilities will be:
Participate in Monday Trade with reviewing all trade sheets
Contribute to trade with key actions and best seller outtakes
Work into new styles with OTB
Own all sample management
Trusted to maintain and manage the critical path
Liase internally with garment techs, merchandising and design over the critical path
Clearly communicate with suppliers for any delivery or ex-factory concerns or changes
Work closely to the merchandising function to know how the brands partners (wholesalers) are trading
Meet and manage the working relationship with partners when showcasing new product to them each season
Gather all initial costs and fairly negotiate, supporting your buyer directly
Good understanding of margin through all costing exercises to be able to support your Buyer
Support the Buyer and Designer with sample briefs and tech packs
Be on top of all sample trackers
Own all administrative tasks for the area
Actively research the market for latest trends, influencers and social media movements in fashion
Monitor the market for any new promotions, collaborations or launches
