ATA are exclusively working with a leading manufacturer of material handling solutions, for over 40 years our client has been a market leader in conveyor systems, grit capture and water waste systems. This Swedish owned business has seen a 20% per year growth over the last 5 years and have offices worldwide including Sweden, Netherlands, Australia, and the USA.
Currently the UK base is looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer to work closely with their dynamic team in Oxfordshire, the UK site generate an annual turnover of over £20 million and due to high client demands and orders they are offering a Mechanical Design Engineer a rare opportunity to join their successful business with a realistic opportunity for progression.
The Role:
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a key role to provide and implement your expertise on various projects, working on new orders and projects from cradle to grave.
The Mechanical Design Engineer’s key responsibility will be to:
Produce both bespoke and standard drawings using Auto desk Inventor CAD package.
Manage the lifecycle of the design from order to delivery.
Assist with pricing and quotations.
Manage delivery dates in line with the project milestones.
Generate applications drawings for new products.
The Candidate:
To be successful in your application for the Mechanical Design Engineer role you will need:
CAD experience in 2D and 3D.
Proficient user of Auto desk Inventor.
A mechanical engineering background.
Good communication skills.
