Role: Large Format Printer / Printer

Salary: £20K-£24K + overtime

Hours: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm + overtime required during busy periods.

Location: Swindon

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual to join a litho & digital printing company with a reputation for both quality and service. It would appeal to an experienced individual looking to do a variety of tasks within a busy and long-established printing company.

They are looking for a hard-working individual who can offer flexibility and commitment. This highly motivated individual will need to display a professional approach to their work and have a genuine ‘can do’ attitude towards their responsibilities. The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize the workload to achieve maximum output would be critical.

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in managing or supervising and Large Format inkjet printing. Digital Textile and Dye sub printing is a plus. This hands-on role will require a highly motivated, self-disciplined team player. You will need to be adaptable and able to multi task.

Key Responsibilities:

* To ensure that all orders are despatched on time, in full and to the correct specification and quality

* Ensuring each member of staff is working as efficiently as possible

* To suggest and implement preventative measures to stop reoccurrence of any reported issues

* Setting and running large format printers (Oce Colorado / Mimaki UJV(Apply online only))

* Processing artwork through RIP for printing

* General upkeep and maintenance of machines

* Must be flexible. Your responsibility would be to make sure all orders despatch on time.

* Briefing and communicating information when receiving or passing jobs onto finishing

* Large Format Finishing

Requirements:

* Extensive large format print production experience.

* Familiar with R.I.P. software. (EFI / ONYX / Cadlink or similar)

* Using large format printers

* Using LF Finishing equipment

* Ability to multitask and work to tight deadlines

* Have a positive, “can do” attitude

* Work overtime when required

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

* Strong work ethic and willingness to assist other team members whenever necessary

* Digital Textile printing and Dye Sub printing is a plus
