Our client is a well-established manufacturer of beautiful bespoke furniture for the commercial and residential sectors working for some leading brands such as BT and Spotify.
With their ongoing successes and a forever growing order book, they're looking for a Furniture Designer to join them on a permanent basis. You will be a key member of their design team primarily using Autodesk Inventor to create conceptual designs and 3D models of fitted furniture and cabinetry taken from customer briefs.
Further responsibilities, but are not limited to:
Generating design requirements through client meetings, either onsite or over the phone
Create conceptual designs using Autodesk Inventor Studio for tendering
Collaborate with the production and technical teams to understand best joinery methods
Generate 3D Inventor models for the backend technical team
Site visits for surveying maybe requiredSkills and experiences required:
Competent in Autodesk Inventor or those with SolidWorks experience will be considered
Experience designing bespoke furniture and joinery is essential
Able to create rendered designs using Inventor Studio or SolidWorks Visualise is required
Knowledge in Inventor Woodwork ad-in is beneficial
