If you have work experience within a School or with Special Needs children then we want to hear from you.

Experience with ASD, ADHD & PMLD is preferred.

Our ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed and flexible and have a love of teaching students with special educational needs, including learning outside of the classroom and teaching life skills. You will want to inspire and motivate students and will not mind students who are sometimes anxious and show challenging behaviour.

The role:

Liaise with the class teacher where required
Reporting any issues, in line with school policy and procedure
Communicating effectively with children, staff, parents, and carers where necessary
Looking after students emotional, physical, and social well being
Experience of working 1:1 or with small groups.
Experience of using visual resources, including visual timetables; now & next boards; check lists
Experience of/training in phonics & early reading All successful candidates will be subject to DBS and reference checks and will need to have the 'right to work' in the UK.
