Junior Development Designer
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £24000 – £28000/annum
A well-established international retail design agency are looking for a Junior Development Designer to join their team!
An exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team that creates branded displays, shop-in-shop interiors, exhibition spaces, and display accessories.
Job role:
-Get stuck in with briefs from the in-house Creative Design team and interpret renderings to develop designs and bring them to reality.
-Use SolidWorks to create stable 3D CAD models and detailed drawings suitable to move forward to be manufactured from.
-Alongside team members, create BOMs and develop parts using various materials and manufacturing processes.
-Thrive on prototyping and testing new concepts.
-Keep up to date with up-and-coming design trends, materials and technologies.
Requirements:
-Good experience with a 3D CAD package ideally SolidWorks and experience with AutoCAD would be advantageous.
-An awareness of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes specifically materials such as glass, metal and acrylic fabrication.
-A good communicator and show ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment both as a team and independently.
