Merchandiser (supply chain)
Job Type : Permanent, Full Time
Salary : £32000 – £35000/annum Hybrid working + benefits
We are recruiting for an experienced Merchandiser who is obsessive about managing the detail, and who will effectively, and efficiently drive the supply chain. A credible influencer with all stakeholders, and is someone who will always strive to find a solution!.
A background from within a similar supplier fashion or textiles environment, managing key account relationships will be essential.
Merchandiser – The Job Outline
* Take day-to-day control of the merchandising activities, and the full critical path process.
* Establish and maintain regular communication with multi-site offshore manufacturing and supply base.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with customer(s).
* Input / load all purchase orders promptly and accurately.
* Strive to improve ways of working through carrying out regular performance reviews and seeking customer feedback.
* Ensure your Sales Manager is fully up-to-date with progress; highlighting any potential issues and propose solutions where possible.
Merchandiser – Person Specification
* Proven experience as a merchandiser within a supplier environment within fashion/textiles.
* Strong analytical skills
* Understanding of the garment costing, production process.
* Highly proficient in MSOffice, specifically Microsoft Excel
* Excellent communication skills
* Shows resilience and copes well under pressure
* Flexible approach, with an ability to demonstrate diplomacy and tenacity as required.
* Willingness to travel UK and overseas
* Team player and easily approachable
* Applicants must have full Right to Work status in the UK and not require sponsorship
