Junior Quality Control Technician Package
* Salary: £25,000 per annum
* Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5:30pm (Thursday in-office; hybrid other days)
* Benefits: 24 days annual leave (increasing up to 29 days with service), annual Christmas shutdown, and excellent development opportunities.
Junior Quality Control Technician Role Details
As a Junior Quality Control Technician, you'll work in a high-energy environment with a well-established design agency, ensuring all client materials meet quality and compliance standards before release. You’ll check documentation, artwork, proofs, and products to spot inconsistencies and ensure all client specifications are met.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and rectify errors in proofs before production
* Proofread documentation, files, and artwork for consistency and accuracy
* Verify that work meets client and regulatory specifications
* Maintain an up-to-date log of client brand guidelines
* Track and log project approval dates using Excel and Ziflow
* Review contract proofs to confirm they match approved artwork and log them in the system
* Support in keeping the Artbox database organized and up-to-date
* Occasionally work with Photoshop (basic tasks; no prior experience required)
Ideal Candidate Profile:
* Lives in or can easily commute to Queen’s Park, London, once a week
* Background in design is advantageous but not essential
* High attention to detail with strong spelling and grammar skills
* Comfortable with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and adaptable to quality control systems
* Eager to learn new processes and grow within the role
