Job Type : Permanent, Full Time

Salary : £40000 – £45000/annum

Role – Design Engineer position
Location – Close to Diss, Norfolk
Working hours –Monday to Friday – 8am – 4.30pm
Capacity of role – Permanent capacity
Salary – Up to £45,000 per annum

Our client is a well-respected and reputable business in the local area and they are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join their team within a permanent capacity.
Applicants will need to have previous experience in a similar environment

Main duties will include –
 Production of manufacturing and assembly drawings
 3D Modelling working on Solid works design package
 Producing BOM’s for various departments
 Liaising with all departments in the business to ensure the smooth running of projects
 Understanding the engineering process, materials and giving guidance where required to ensure a right first time approach is met.
 Reporting any issues and troubleshooting for the business.

Candidate attributes –
 Applicants must be fully conversant with 3D packages in particular Solidworks.
 Previous experience with the design of Agricultural based , FMCG based product range
 Relevant industry qualification
 A driving licence is required due to the location of the business.
 Ability to work using own initiative and with minimal supervision.
