About the Role
As a Bid & Creative Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in our Business Development team. You’ll be dually responsible for supporting the bid process by preparing compelling content, coordinating bid activities, maintaining bid documentation, and utlising their design skills to create and amend exciting visuals. This role requires a strong ability to manage deadlines, collaborate with teams, and produce high-quality proposals aligned with the company’s standards and client expectations.
This position involves close interaction with the Business Development & Marketing team, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless bid process. Additionally, the Bid & Creative Coordinator manages content libraries, ensures compliance with tender requirements, and supports the continuous improvement of bid quality and processes.
Key Responsibilities
Bid Process Management: Coordinate and oversee the entire bid process, ensuring deadlines are met and submissions are of the highest quality.
Content Creation: Write, edit, and refine high-quality content for proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with internal teams to gather technical and commercial insights for bids.
Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure all submissions meet tender requirements and align with industry standards.
Content Library Management: Maintain and regularly update the bid content library to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and client needs to enhance bid quality and competitiveness.
Client Feedback: Coordinate the collection of post-submission feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Documentation & Organization: Ensure version control of documents and manage the preparation of supporting materials, case studies, and templates.
Innovation & Presentation: Develop creative approaches to presenting technical and commercial information.
Team Leadership: Organize and lead bid kick-off meetings, mentor junior team members, and share best practices in bid preparation.
Performance Tracking: Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to bid success and efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 2+ years in a similar role, with strong project coordination and writing skills.
Education: GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent); higher education qualifications (e.g., A-level, HNC/D, Bachelor’s degree) are a bonus.
Skills:
Exceptional writing and editing abilities.
Skilled in the Microsoft suite, in particlaur Word and Power Indesign and Adobe design suites.
Higher educational qualifications to ‘A’ level / HNC/D/ Masters / Bachelor’s degree level would be beneficial
Knowledge: Familiarity with bid processes, tender management, and compliance standards is advantageous.
