Salary : £37000 – £45000/annum

Architect required to join a progressive multi-disciplinary practice in central Glasgow.

Conrad Consulting are recruiting on behalf of a long-standing client of ours to recruit a talented individual to join their team in Glasgow. Ideally this person would be a qualified Architect with at least 3 years of practical experience.

Typically, this company work on a mixture of project types in the Commercial-sectors. This could be anything from a large office development to an infrastructure scheme or anything in between. They are happy to turn their hand to anything, including smaller-scale Residential works if required. Their team are comprised of Architectural professionals, Project Managers and Building surveyors. Their is a Director heading-up the Architecture team, this current requirement would be to 'sit-beneath' them in a senior role, overseeing some of the more junior team members, also working closely with colleagues from other backgrounds (Project Management, Surveying, Cost consultancy, etc). This role will be a job-running role. You will be given plenty of scope for independence and offered room to grow into a more senior role as your position here develops.

Ideally, we are looking for the Architect to meet the following criteria:

·ARB/RIBA Qualification.
·Minimum 2 years industry experience (UK-based preferred).
·Strong Design & Technical skills
·Previous experience working on Retail, Industrial or Commercial-focused projects.
·Have excellent communication skills / be able to work in a team.
·REVIT & AutoCAD experience preferred.
·Previous experience working in a multi-disciplinary environment.

This attractive Architect position is based in central Glasgow, with excellent commuter links and the opportunity for working-hours flexibility and some degree of hybrid/home working, although initially the role would be primarily office-based.
