We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Project Manager to join our team.
For over 30 years, Omni has worked extensively with galleries, museums and artists. We produce limited edition prints and one-off original artworks for internationally renowned artists and institutions, and we are regularly called on to help manage some of the most ambitious print-based works in the arts. Omni also covers areas of branding and visual display for major corporate clients, architects and event organisers.
The main role of Project Manager is to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard, on time and on budget. You will be liaising with clients, sub-contractors and Omni’s production team to progress jobs through from initial concept to delivery. The position would suit someone with an interest in visual arts and an ability to stay organised in a fast-moving environment
The Role
* Estimating new work
* Researching, developing and advising clients on materials and techniques
* Site surveys, on and off-site client / contractor meetings
* Checking and filing artwork, troubleshooting as necessary
* Raising job sheets and briefing production with all relevant information to promote smooth running of projects
* Monitoring quality control, meeting client requirements and managing expectations
* Foreseeing problems and taking steps to resolve them
* Organising installations and booking crew, raising all necessary Health and Safety docs such as RAMs
* Managing outwork and suppliers
* Managing budgets and reviewing cost efficiency
* Maintaining and developing positive relationships with clients
* Proposing improvements to workflow
* Invoicing and raising Purchase Orders using Clarity software
* Updating database, maintaining effective filing structure
* We are a small team so getting stuck in and working effectively with others is essential. Assisting in other departments when necessary to meet deadlines
Essential:
* Proven record of successful project management
* Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with client-facing experience
* Background and active interest in art and design
* Ability to approach multiple jobs and tackle workload efficiently
* Good level of technical and creative understanding
* Solid administrative skills and good eye for detail
* Be able to foresee issues and take steps towards resolving them
* Fully conversant with Microsoft Office Suite
* Experience using Adobe Creative Suite
Preferable:
* Knowledge of print, graphics and signage production
Salary negotiable, experience is essential
Full-time, 5 days a week. Some overtime required
