Salary : £35000 – £45000/annum

A technically focussed Architect who an interest in diversifying into Project Management is required to join an established construction and property consultancy in Sheffield which provides a wide range of Project Management, Surveying and Architectural design services to the public and private sectors.

Working within our clients busy Multi-disciplinary team who currently have a very robust pipeline of work within the Commercial, Education & Residential sectors, required is a Technically competent Architect keen to diversify and professionally develop into a Project Management role.

The role requires the Architect to have strong technical design knowledge with the responsibility to work closely with the design team for the delivery of various projects simultaneously. An Architect who has previous project running experience and has solid construction capabilities would be highly desirable.

Our client use a mixture of AutoCAD and Revit Software, the ability to use either proficiently would be very advantageous alongside the ability to run and lead projects in a Project Management capacity.

Additional Architect requirements as follows –

Currently operating as a fully qualified ARB / RIBA Architect with solid technical capabilities.
Architects recently qualified with solid assistant experience considered, fully qualified Architects with circa 3 years plus experience is the ideal skill & knowledge level.
Posses excellent technical expertise and a track record of delivering technically challenging and diverse projects.
Interested in Project Management with previous job running experience.
Extensive knowledge of up-to-date UK Building Regulations.
Experience of working in Commercial Architecture, especially refurbishment and retrofit schemes.
Strong team leadership and management experience, interested in developing staff and mentoring.
AutoCAD literate and with Revit experience an advantage.
Quality management and best practice guidance essential.
Building safety act knowledge with additional training provided to undertake Principal Designer responsibilities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
A person of good character and keen to positively contribute to the culture of the business.The successful Architect will receive a salary in the region of £35,000 – £45,000 plus the following associated benefits –

5% employer pension, 26 days holiday, health cash plan, life insurance and professional fees, the position is office based with a flexible core hours working policy.
