Interior Design Technician (mat. cover)
Job Type : Temporary, Full Time
Salary : £10.50 – £12.00/hour
We are now looking for experienced Interior Design Technician to join our amazing client in Poole for a 6 months maternity cover period. It is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-wide known brand. Sunseeker International is probably the most recognised motor yacht brand in the world.
Your responsibilities will include:
Take information from initial concept models or written brief to produce production drawings for components and sub components within Siemens NX 3D Software & with the correct information within Teamcenter.
Utilise standard parts where possible and update Team Centre and SAP as required.
Ensure that the Bill Of Materials is correct in Team Centre and SAP
Work within the Design Office protocolsThe ideal candidate:
Ability to read and understand drawings
Understanding of CAD processes and lifecycle
IT Skills are essential in 3D CAD, and Microsoft Office
Experience and understanding of ERP systems, especially SAP
Understanding of boat building techniques, processes and marine manufacturing methods
Experience of Design and construction of Cabinetry & Furniture is beneficial but not essential
An Understanding of project planning and supply chain processes are also beneficialRates of pay are competitive and depending on experience.
