Workplace Interior Designer Job in Farringdon, London
Workplace Interior Designer with Revit proficiency required to join an employee-owned traditional workplace design firm in Farringdon, London. You will be joining a team of talented designers to create and design commercial projects with clients across the UK. Partnering with senior designers and project managers you will have exposure to a wide range of activities and be involved in all stages of design. The role is offering a competitive salary of up to £40,000 plus additional benefits and hybrid working flexibility.
Our client has over 30 years' experience working within the commercial sector, creating engaging and people-focused interiors that strengthen their client's branding and culture. The practice focuses on developing innovative and unique solutions for their clients, driving their businesses forward, and creating environments that support their objectives and engage their staff. Revit experience is a key requirement for this position.
Role & Responsibilities
To assist in the creation and drafting of technical drawings in Revit
Work alongside the wider team to establish and select FF&E for projects
Space planning and feasibility studies
Oversee and manage design budgets
Obtain costings and estimates
Liaise with clients to understand workplace requirements and spatial needsRequired Skills & Experience
Competent Revit, Adobe Suite and MS Office user
Proven background in commercial/workplace design (5+ years)
Experience managing a small team
Strong knowledge of all stages of the design process, from concept through to installation
Understanding and knowledge of building regulations, construction documents, and contract administration
Degree in Architecture or Interior Design, desirableWhat you get back
