The company:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a multi-award-winning housebuilder as they have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Timber Frame Designer to join their forward-thinking team in Leicestershire. They lead the way in off-site, closed panel construction and have 3 timber frame factories as well operating nationally across 16 regions and are rapidly expanding!
The Role:
As a Timber Frame Designer you will work in conjunction with external manufacturers, suppliers and will be a key member of the internal production team. You will be responsible for the preparation, design and coordination of new timber frame house types, alongside the methodology for their current range of standard house types.
About you:
Minimum 3 years’ experience in an similar role designing timber frame house types for manufacture
Experienced with using WoodEngine, Consultec, HSBcad or similar software
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong ability to form and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Able to work on own initiative and to prioritise workload
Incredibly self-motivated
Thorough understanding of NHBC regulations
