Senior Interior Designer Job in Hertfordshire
My client is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with a background in workplace/commercial design & build to join their team based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire on a full-time permanent basis. The role will see you working on a range of projects primarily across London and the Home Counties but covering the whole UK as well. This is a hands-on role involved in all stages with a focus on creativity and concept design.
The practice specialises in commercial workplace interiors since its inception, over 40 years ago. Their team of 30 work collaboratively to design, develop and build projects from initial concept through to completion. With an ever-expanding portfolio of projects, they are now looking for a talented Senior Interior Designer, ideally with Revit experience, to join their design team.
Role & Responsibilities
To work directly with clients, from initial concept through to construction and handover
Take the creative lead on projects and work with clients to understand and interpret their briefs for feasible designs
Create and deliver technical packages, working with external visualisers and outsourcing companies, when required
Develop and present client presentations, assisting with new and existing business development
Manage and mentor join members of the team, working closely with the directors of the business
Attend site visits, oversee installations and snaggingRequired Skills & Experience
Degree qualified interior design or similar
6+ years of experience working in commercial D&B
Experience working across all project stages
Ideally proficient in Revit or willing to undergo training (provided)
3D visualisation ability/experience would be useful
Client-facing/concept design experience
Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travelWhat you get back
