Excellent opportunity here for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join a Hospitality, Leisure and Retail Construction Specialists, based in Boston, Lincolnshire.
The practice in question are a medium sized outfit in East Lincolnshire, specialising in producing high quality designs in the Hospitality, Leisure and Retail sectors, with projects ongoing throughout the UK. Due to continued growth plans and an increase in workload, the practice are now seeking a project running Architectural Technologist to join the team.
Your role within the design team will primarily involve the production of technical detailing & construction packages for a range of retail, leisure and commercial projects. You will confidently provide solutions for a variety of planning & architectural purposes, supporting every aspect of a project from inception to completion.
Using Auto CAD, you will be directly involved in the design of internal and external works, permissions, working drawings and specifications. You will often need to integrate designs from different disciplines, whilst ensuring compliance with design, legal, statutory and professional requirements.
You will undertake site visits and inspections as required, producing surveys and feasibility studies, and deal with client queries.
The Architectural Technologist for this position will hold the following skills and qualifications:
A degree in Architectural Technology or a HNC/HND in a related field.
At least 5 years of industry experience.
Experience of job running and team leadership.
Experience of working within the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sectors.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
Detailed knowledge of UK Building Regs.In return, the successful Architectural Technologist will be offered a salary in the region of £30,000-£40,000 per annum, negotiable dependant on experience.
