Interior Architect Job in Hertfordshire
Interior Architect / Technical Designer with a background in workplace/commercial design & build required to join an expanding commercial design firm based in Hatfield, Hertfordshire on a full-time permanent basis. The role will see you working on a range of projects primarily across London and the Home Counties but covering the whole UK as well. The role is focused on delivering technical designs and packages for a wide range of projects, using Revit as the primary software.
The practice specialises in commercial workplace interiors since its inception, over 40 years ago. Their team of 30 work collaboratively to design, develop and build projects from initial concept through to completion. With an ever-expanding portfolio of projects, they are now looking for a talented Interior Architect / Technical Designer with strong Revit skills to join their design team.
Role & Responsibilities
To produce technical drawings and packages in Revit
Liaise with internal teams to understand client requirements and project specifications
Keep up to date and understand building regulations
Maintain company design standards
Work with external visualisers and outsourcing companies, when required
Assist in the develop of client presentations and design development materials
Manage and mentor join members of the team, working closely with the directors of the business
Attend site visits when requiredRequired Skills & Experience
Degree qualified interior design or similar
6+ years of experience working in commercial D&B
Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD
3D visualisation ability/experience would be useful
Full UK Driving Licence and ability to travelWhat you get back
