Senior Digital Designer

Salary : £30000 – £35000/annum
Here at Strawberry, we are an innovative marketing agency with a vibrant culture looking for an exceptional Senior Digital Designer to join our team either in our Hull-based offices or on a remote basis.
The Senior Digital Designer will help us create exceptional ecommerce experiences for a vast array of clients. Brand and user-focused design is at the heart of everything we do, so an understanding of UX/UI design would be a bonus.
Our team is continually challenged to experiment with new tools, new technologies and to explore innovative ways to grow our clients’ business — you will be too. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle of ecommerce design projects, whilst still collaborating with the Strawberry team and clients along the way.
About the role:
* Establishing what required steps are needed to undertake new projects, such as research.
* Managing each step of design projects, from the planning stage to the final presentation.
* Creating and presenting presentations for clients and other team members, using data and insights to back your design decisions.
* Designing high level work that exceeds client expectations using a wide range of design tools, such as Adobe CS and Sketch.
* Actively participating in strategy meetings and creative discussions with team members.
About you:
* Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
* Experience in an agency role or working with ecommerce platforms (such as Shopify) would be a bonus.
* A portfolio demonstrating a strong knowledge of ecommerce and experience design, brand, the creative process and conceptual thinking.
* CSkills in modern design and prototyping tools from Adobe CS to Figma, Sketch, etc.
* An understanding of the principles of UX/UI design and how to apply them.
* A keen interest in user needs as defined by data, analytics and metrics.
* An ability to maintain a high standard of work.
* An ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with the team.
* An ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks to ensure work is delivered on time.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
