Salary : £19000 – £23000/annum

The Junior Graphic Designer will develop design concepts through to finished designs, to a brief and on schedule, to ensure commercial and marketing teams have outstanding print, exhibitions and digital/web assets to support business growth.

This business is a hybrid of Marketing and Manufacturing. They produce and distribute tens of millions of printed products each year through over 3,500+ resellers. All orders are fulfilled in-house through innovative print processes, including direct digital and spot colour printing, as well as laser engraving, dye sublimation printing, digital transfer printing, debossing and doming.

Located in Farnham in newly refurbished offices, each team has a direct line to the Board of Directors, giving you visibility and accountability which are essentials for growth. Description

Your responsibilities will include:

Printed Materials – design and develop company product catalogues, magazine adverts, brochures, promotional leaflets, direct mail collateral, advertising templates and designs;

Event and Exhibition Materials – design and develop exhibition panel artwork, event support materials – catalogues;

Digital and Social Media – creation of social media assets, images, gif and animations, website assets, digital advertising assets, e-shots, digital personalised catalogues;

Account Marketing Materials – design and develop sales support materials based on customer requirements;

Photography – assist in organising product photography shoots when new products are introduced and aid the photographer/videographer when and if needed;

Image Retouching – image retouching completed to company standards;

Corporate Materials – design company stationery and materials in line with corporate guidelines to a high standard;

Business Support – support the wider sales and marketing teams as required across the business with ad-hoc graphic design requests to achieve set goals and targets;

Profile

To be successful in this role you will need the following skills:

1-2 years' graphic design experience acquired in-house or agency-side;

Experience of working in a B2B/trade marketing team and business and experience in brand-led collateral design;

Experience of social media and designing social media assets to correct formats and resolution;

Extensive knowledge of the whole Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, AfterEffects and PremierePro;

Experience in image manipulation to a high standard;

Have typography skills and strong layout capabilities;

Have a strong portfolio showing creative examples of a range of marketing and sales support collateral;

Full of creativity and enjoyed creative team huddles and idea sharing;

Having an understanding and familiarity with UX design would be advantageous;
