Salary : £38000 – £42000/annum
Outstanding opportunity for an ambitious Project Architect to join one of Leeds premier Architectural practices, based in the heart of the city centre in a superb open plan studio space overlooking the canal.
Featuring prominently in the AJ100, the practice has gone from strength to strength since being established over 30 years ago and they subsequently boast multiple studio locations across the UK and have a dedicated team of 200 individuals that care passionately about creating places that foster human connection and social value. The Leeds office has grown considerably over recent years and features a close-knit team of 30 professionals incorporating Architects, Technicians and Architectural Assistants.
An ambitious and career focussed Project Architect is now required to work closely with their impressive client portfolio to ensure the designs are functional, comply with client design guides and are within budgetary restraints.
You will be working within a variety of sectors and project types, in areas such as; Residential, Education, Retail, Mixed Use, Offices and Industrial Units and will work across all RIBA stages from inception to completion.
As part of the Project Architect role you will enjoy an interesting mix of responsibilities which includes:
* Working closely with a team to help deliver projects at all levels of the RIBA Work stages.
* Assist with the development of architectural designs that meet client aspirations.
* Working closely with the Directors to manage resources, time and implement best practice.
* Liaising with all statutory authorities.
* Supporting bids and feasibilities to help secure new work.
* Work closely with construction professionals at all levels.
* Help clients develop project briefs and establish drivers.
* Be an active participant in the studio's CPD program.
* Working with client's confidential and commercially sensitive information.
My client is keen for applications from Project Architects if you have the following –
* A proven record of managing and delivering projects (Ideally commercial workplace).
* Client facing experience and previous management of multiple stakeholders.
* Proficiency in the latest software tools e.g. Revit, AutoCAD, BIM.
* Enthusiastic about design and creativity. * Excellent design and presentation skills.
* Excellent project management and planning skills.
* Proven experience in managing time-sensitive and budget constrained projects.
* Desire to develop your career and professional development
* Fully qualified RIBA / ARB registered Project Architect with a minimum of 5 years qualified experience.
