Conrad Consulting are exclusively recruiting for one of the UK's premier Architecture & Interior Design brands who are looking to hire a talented Project Architect or Senior Architect to join their busy Leeds City Centre Studio.

Boasting a 30 year heritage our client are one of the UK's leading Architecture & Interior Design firms strategically located in modern office space in Leeds and the city of London respectively, they have garnered an enviable reputation and a well-known brand for delivering Quality, Sustainable and award winning designs across all building sectors.

Their Leeds office consists of 20 full time members of staff and incorporates a nice balance of Architects, Technologist's and Architectural Assistants, the majority of their project work is Master planning, Build to rent, Student Accommodation and Mixed use commercial & low level retail developments.

They now require an ambitious Project Architect, someone who is used to running their own Projects or a Senior Architect who has taken on wider team leadership responsibilities (5-10 years PQE is the sweet spot) to join a wider projects delivery team and assist in the successful Architectural Design and Technical delivery of various developer led commercial projects, specifically this is for an upcoming £50m build-rent Residential project which is due on site imminently, the project will be located on a prominent site in the heart of Leeds. Additional Projects include a landmark mixed use development site for a prominent developer client which is circa £100m in value and a large infrastructure project that incorporates commercial and leisure usages.

Ideally, they require a Project Architect with several notable projects within their portfolio that they have delivered, this project is exclusively delivered using REVIT software so previous experience of delivering project work to BIM Level 2 standard would be very desirable. Alongside this they need someone who is a passionate and creative designer, has a good technical knowledge, an understanding of how building are constructed. You will also be a confident job runner with site based delivery experience, additionally they require someone who is confident presenting and has natural client facing and relationship building qualities. A solid amount of technical delivery experience is required and an in-depth knowledge of RIBA stages 4-7, there will also be exposure to some early stage conceptual and design work as we approach the summer months.

On offer is an excellent competitive starting salary depending on experience circa £38,000 – £43,000, remote working currently with flexible working core hours policy as standard.
